Sreya Sarker
Sreya Sarker is a graphic designer and printmaker based in Kolkata, India. She has dual design experience. On the one hand, she received education at the Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta, which taught her about the aesthetic impact of visual expression. On the other hand, she gained an understanding of design's commercial impact, which influenced her knowledge of visual presence and application. From 2007 until 2014, she worked as a graphic design instructor, responsible for teaching students about economically viable design structures. We designed the course to equip students with an understanding of design's marketability and the notion of creating as a viable business pursuit. Sreya worked with an organization that fostered community-based craft companies from 2014 to 2021. She worked closely with traditional rural artists in India, who participate in multi-generational traditions of creative engagement through craft production. Sreya has participated in other book design and artwork endeavors. She actively participates in the creation of financially profitable goods that are in harmony with traditional art forms and their historical significance. In addition, she has served as a design coach and aptitude analyzer for ambitious design students.
La convergence entre expériences sensorielles et expression personnelle, la combinaison d'images visuelles et de mots écrits, et l'interaction entre émotions incarnées et abstraites créent des énoncés porteurs de sens. Ces diverses techniques de transformation génèrent de nouvelles ontologies dynamiques. L'examen de la séquence complète de ces mutations suscite une perception distincte de la réalité chez tous les individus impliqués ou inscrits au CCL. Ils s'engagent dans des interventions créatives, transdisciplinaires et discursives, opérant au présent et faisant référence au passé. Les pratiques de recherche innovantes du Cambridge Creation Lab visent à intégrer l'analyse et les configurations narratives. Nous aidons les étudiants chercheurs à créer des illustrations cohérentes et spontanées en s'inspirant de diverses disciplines. L'objectif ultime est d'acquérir une compréhension approfondie de la véritable essence de l'art à travers différentes cultures. Notre approche globale de l'apprentissage privilégiera la création de pensées et d'idées visuellement percutantes, tangibles et imaginatives. Le rôle de Sreya consistera notamment à accompagner les étudiants dans la réflexion sur la perspective dialectique et à développer leur capacité à combiner et à améliorer leurs compétences perceptives en synthétisant des représentations visibles et moins visibles.
Sreya observe les foules et apprécie l'étude des schémas comportementaux comme loisir. Selon elle, la foule est essentielle à la résolution de toute situation. Comprendre les schémas humains peut aider à appréhender chaque exigence de conception.
